District Nine

The new band is ready!

District Nine consists of nine musicians from the district. In addition to this somewhat anology, I like the fact that we have the same name as a sci fi movie, even tough I don't expect alien visitors in the nearby future :-)

The first gig will be at Teaterfabrikken, Ålesund, the 29th of December.

PolarJazz on Svalbard

PolarJazz

I will be playing on the PolarJazz festival on February 4th!
The PolarJazz festival is very exotic with it's situation in Longyearbyen on the Island Svalbard, not that far away from the North Pole.

The band, Cowabunga, consists of Vidar Sæther, Anders Hundstad, Lars Andreas Haug and myself.

I'm really looking forward to this and hope there will be time for a trip on a snow scooter :-)

It has been quiet for a while here on dalhaug.net, but now I'm back - back in Ålesund where I was born and grew up. We bought a house and a car and I got a new jobb as a developer at Portalia.

I also got a job as the leader of Ålesund Storband and we are doing a Sinatra concert on TeaterfabrikkenThursday 26th of November. The Rat Pack for the evening is Ketil Rasmussen :-)
